The vintage condition and pattern of the pony skin vary per chair. This chair is characterized by the perfect condition of the black base, the chrome tube construction and the webbing. The pony skin has a nice, spotty pattern in red-brown, white and dark brown. Reddish brown predominates. I inherited the chair from my father, who was the first owner.The ponyskin covering has been neglected for some time and has therefore started to shed. This process has now stopped, but as can be seen in the photos, the upholstery has a number of bare spots. All in all, this approximately 35 year old chair is in good vintage condition.
