This Mid-Century modern hanging lamp was produced by Philips in the late 1950s and early 1960s. In the Netherlands she appeared as model NT 29 E/00. When this model was also exported to France, it was given the model name “Larmor” (model number 86.014). They were designed in the 1950s by the famous architect and designer Louis Kalff.
This designer lamp is height adjustable as a pull-pendant ornament using a roller system. This gives it a suspension height of 50 to 180 cm in total. The lamp gives a very beautiful glowing indirect light and is a real eye-catcher. The lamp is composed of triple satin-finished glass (opaline) and a large (fiberglass) polyester yellow lampshade. Furthermore, the lamp has bakelite components.
