Impressive screen print by Clemens Briels. 110 x 80 cm.
Clemens Briels lives and works in Heusden. He started his career in the advertising world. Before he finally started working as an artist, he was a successful art director. In 2002, Briels made an international name for himself by being the first Dutch artist to be officially appointed “Official Olympic Artist” at the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. Briels trained at the Academy for Industrial Design in Eindhoven. He makes very colorful work, where he directly converts his imagination into figures. The work is influenced by Cobra and South American art. His work is in many corporate and private collections at home and abroad. He has also done a lot of work on behalf of large companies.
