Kroken Lounge Chair
This Chair was designed by Ake Fribytter in 1974. Produced by the Swedish manufacturer Nelo Mobel.
The seating comfort is very comfortable and is partly determined by the freely supporting curved wooden frame.
The fabric seat is suspended in a canvas sling.
The chair has been reupholstered, the leather lace replaced and the canvas sling cleaned.
An Italian Gobelin was chosen for the fabric, inspired by the works of Joan Miro.
Ake Fribyutter's extraordinary design lends itself perfectly to this choice of fabric and is seen as a nod to the one-sided range of color and upholstery.
The art lover can find this a perfect addition to any Mid-Century Modern living room, library or bedroom.
