I actually wanted to refurbish this Bird Chair by Harry Bertoia for Knoll International - but unfortunately I never got around to it. The chair is suitable for living, but the cover and the shockmounts are very used.
In addition, some struts have been welded - which is not noticeable as long as the cover is in use.
All in all, a very comfortable design classic that is rarely found at such a low price.The photos show the condition of the armchair in unadorned form and are part of the item description. The armchair shows signs of age-related wear. The cover is slightly creased and has some wear on the sides. The wire mesh has been welded so that the armchair is stable and ready for use. The shockmounts are clearly used but fully functional - they should be replaced in the long term.
