Surrealistic sculptures in wrought iron
This is township. It is part of the Organic Towers series by artist JLB.
The unique wrought iron boat, the bottom of which was decorated with welding bubbles, was created between hammer, fire and anvil. Forging is a form of sculpting. The ship with apartment buildings refers to container boats that bring goods wherever people live.
The sculpture was given a coating that accentuated the hammer blows and gave the object a beautiful brown-black shine.
The materials and technique used by the artist are completely integrated into the result. All sculptures have a high cuddly factor, but are so layered that the viewer almost immediately looks for the message and the relationship the viewer has with it...
