Ceramic design bowl designed by artist, Jan Kamphuis from Deventer, for Kluwer.
The beautiful glaze decoration is a typical example of the hand of Kamphuis, who won the Japanese Inax prize in 1995.
The bowl is made by Antonio Rosa - Ceramicas Ltda in Portugal.
The bowl was specially designed by Jan for Kluwer in Deventer; I believe this must have been made before 1987, as Wolters Samson and Kluwer merged in 1987 and continued under the name Wolters Kluwer. Special are the special details that Kamphuis has incorporated with letters in the handle.
