This original Jan Des Bouvrie designer two-seater sofa is about 30 years old. At the time I bought it from Jan des Bourvie's studio at Het Arsenaal in Naarden-Vesting. On the back is the label that says "International Collection, Jan des Bouvrie".
This is the original upholstery. The legs are chrome with black caps. The bench has a very good seating comfort. Is timeless and fits any interior.
Des Bouvrie founded interior design shop/design center Het Arsenaal in Naarden and Grave. The establishment in Grave closed in 2006,[6] as a trademark, he set up his own design studio and began working with various manufacturers. In 1969, for example, furniture industry Dutch Gelderland Group was the first to produce a design by Des Bouvrie, the cube sofa. This sleekly designed sofa became a design classic. Des Bouvrie also worked for several companies.
