Jacobien de Rooij (Rotterdam, 1947) is known as the illustrator of large monumental drawings that deal with subjects such as representations of the landscapes she visits worldwide, but also animals such as birds, fish and horses. Her work is included in numerous museum, corporate and private collections, including the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, which recently acquired 5 enormous drawings by her hand and added them to its famous collection.
