Product description
Architect Alvar Aalto designed the Aalto collection in 1936. The collection won gold in the Karhula-Iittala glass competition, after which the collection became the entry for the 1937 Paris World's Fair. The new Aalto 262 x 50 mm bowl follows the original shape from the 1930s. The bowl has a multifunctional format that suits the modern lifestyle. The light blue (ice) color pays homage to the original 1930s location. These Aalto bowls are mouth-blown and handmade at the Iittala glass factory in Finland.
