Product description
Special Space Age pendant lamp by Herda from the 1970s, featuring a transparent blue-grey acrylic shade and an aluminum diffuser. The design truly comes to life when the lamp is lit. The openings in the aluminum diffuser reveal the orange interior, allowing warm orange light accents to shine through the dark transparent shade. When switched off, the lamp has a calm, almost smoked glass-like appearance. The combination of acrylic and aluminum, the spherical shade, and the contrasting orange details is typical of experimental lighting from the 1970s. The lamp is in neat vintage condition. There are some light signs of use on the acrylic shade, consistent with its age. Equipped with an E27 fitting (large fitting), suitable for LED. The cord can be made to the desired length before delivery.
