The work “WORDS FROM THE HEART” is part of the “Babel” project. The text that is woven into the image refers to the impossibility of capturing reality in words. (see also website) My words are at best an approximation of how I think I see reality.

It is said that I am a researcher and whoever searches can also find. For a real seeker that is not important. What is found leads to the next question, with everything previously found as a driving force.
I supervised editors, trained inventors and advised entrepreneurs and was an entrepreneur myself. I was a psychotherapist and author of "Glad you have doubts".
Now I investigate the possibilities of digital creation, modern printing techniques and new materials. But not without also asking a deeper question: our rational thinking helps people move forward, but where?
Besides my interesting jobs, I have never been bored.
Creative freedom started early. From the age of 15 I played double bass in jazz formations. That gave me insight into timbre and improvisations.
Later - in France - I worked with photoceramics because the glazes give such beautiful, intense colors.
Glass slumping and fusing has long been another "hot" topic.
In Arizona I made some interesting bronzes.
Now, retired, I live on one of the beautiful islands of Zeeland.
Developing my own style of images has become my passion, new interesting techniques with new results.
My hearing made the double bass mainly decorative; I now develop new compositions in image form.
Creativity and passion continue!
