Product description
Midcentury vintage vase by Groenekan from the 1950s. With fish motif. Numbered on the bottom.
Potterie de Groenekan was founded in 1949 by Adrianus M. (Ad) van Rooij and his wife Annelies Theis, was later taken over by son Peter and existed until 1986. Thanks to good contact with the director of the Artibus art academy in Utrecht, students came to work in the studio. A nice basis for high-quality decorations. Inspiration for this was found, among other things, in ancient Greek and African art. More information can be found on the internet.
Vase is in absolutely intact condition and will be sent securely. I recently sent a vase here and the buyer was extremely satisfied with the quality of the vase and shipping.
