Product description
This is a large ceramic vase in Satsuma style, recognizable by its detailed, hand-painted decoration. The rich, figurative scenes and abundant gold accents make it a striking decorative piece.
The vase is made of ceramic with a cream-colored base and a fine craquelure glaze, which is typical for this type of earthenware. The decoration is executed in a palette of red, green, blue, and black, fully outlined with gold-colored paint. Two ornate, gilded handles and a scalloped, flared rim complete the design. The vase is approximately 41 cm high and 20 cm wide.
The overall condition is good, retaining the vibrant colors and detailed painting. The craquelure is an intentional feature of the style and contributes to the object's character. This vase is a beautiful example of Asian decorative art and adds a touch of classic elegance to an interior. It looks beautiful on a dresser, a console, or as a solitary object on a pedestal.
