Beautiful set of beautifully crafted glass when the lamp burns you get a nice warm look. The lamps are made dor Glashutte Limburg germany. Glashütte Limburg Three months after the end of World War II, in August 1945, graduate engineer Dr. Walter Heinrich submitted his first plans for setting up a glass factory to the U.S. military authorities at Limburg an der Lahn in Germany. Approval to build the factory came quickly because the country urgently needed all types of glass. As a result, ground was broken for Glashütte Limburg as early as September 28, 1945. Because of the lack of power and the difficulty of obtaining materials in the immediate postwar period, construction was initially slow. However, on May 12, 1947, the glassworks finally held its first ceremony, and barely 2 months later, on July 7, 1947, Dr. Heinrich used the blowpipe to take the first glass fused in Limburg See photos.
