Vintage metal wall cabinet Gispen 5600 designed by Andre Cordemeyer in 1959. This cabinet has a white desk/valve cabinet with a black drawer, original lamp and a bookshelf behind it. Under the desk four yellow drawers, two large and two small, below two white sliding doors with a metal shelf behind them.
The first version of the Gispen cabinets was 663 and was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954, this 5600 storage unit is the improved version. The cabinet can be dismantled and can be arranged according to your own taste with the original instructions for use.
Dimensions; Height 137, width 73.5 and depth 36 centimeters. In vintage condition with clearly visible signs of wear consistent with age and use.Stains and discoloration are visible on the top and the desk top. Rust and scratches in various places due to use and age of the case.
