The "legs" consist of an interconnecting tube of chrome. The chrome sits nicely and has been well maintained. The chairs have been lovingly used for over 15 years. They are very nice chairs that are very comfortable, even for long periods of time.All chairs have some damage on the back on the side. One of the four chairs is a bit discolored by the sun. This chair is a little lighter than the others. One of the chairs is missing a screw. It does not cause any other problems.
