"Armchair made of chromed steel tube. The back and the seat are upholstered on thick foam rubber. The chair has rectangular armrests. In Gispen's advertisements the chair is presented as the 'American' chair and was shown behind a desk or around a conference table. Director Ir. W.F. van Osselen had been inspired by the American market during a study trip to America and Canada in 1946. Armchair 352 was one of the first results of Van Osselen's American orientation.
