Original vintage 1401 armchair designed by Wim Rietveld for Gispen in 1954. The design is characterized by comfort, simplicity and unusual metal back. The chair has a gray lacquered frame, bakelite armrests and is complete with 4 original floor caps. The wool upholstery has a warm taupe/aubergine color and is free of stains and damage. The chairs have user marks in the form of patina on the legs, but this in turn gives the armchairs character. A nice set of vintage design classics! Price per armchair.
