Gerard Fitremann was born in France in 1946. He is known for his surrealist portraits and landscapes and studied at the Academy of Liege. He often participates in exhibitions in Brussels and Liège. In 1970, he gave up his role as a master printer to concentrate exclusively on his own works of art. Steadily, he created a large body of work: etchings, watercolors and paintings. In Paris, Fitremann's reputation was built through sales in galleries and then at international art fairs.
