Beautiful statue on marble base. The statue is (including marble base) 45 cm high. The statue is in new condition. The statue is made of a tin alloy and then bronzed. GER VAN TANKEREN (b. 1937) is self-taught. When the demand for his resin sculptures began to decline, he switched to casting sculptures in a tin alloy, which he then bronzed. Ger is known for his versatility and attention to detail. He produced images ranging from very realistic things to artistic and religious scenes. Ger remained active until he was 82 years old making various models, which are not only suitable for the living room, but can also serve as business gifts and look good in the office
