Perhaps one of the most beautiful and exclusive Mid - Century closets ever designed and made in England is surely this infrequent model by the English brand G-Plan. Designed by E- Gomme, this piece of furniture was among the top pieces in the early G-plan model series.
The cabinet is marked on the inside with the manufacturer's signature.

Made of solid teak hardwood combined with Afromosia wood for details and noble veneer, this is a high quality piece of furniture. The base is beautifully designed and all Mid - Century modern style, finished in black.

This example has recently been completely refinished and where necessary lovingly restored.
In the past this cabinet was painted completely white, with the greatest care it has been turned back into a beautiful teak cabinet by carefully removing the paint. This has created a unique patina, in the deeper located very small grooves of the wood you can still see some lighter accents from the previous layer of paint, in our eyes not at all disturbing and it adds to the uniqueness of this vintage furniture.

The result is nevertheless a very beautiful cabinet that will last for years to come and will prove to be very good value, ready for immediate use and use.
It is still constructively and decoratively a very nice cabinet which is rarely offered on the European mainland.
