Three extraordinary names came together in the creation of the Fritz Hansen Superellipse dining table: Piet Hein, Bruno Mathsson and Arne Jacobsen. Unlike the designer Arne Jacobsen, Piet Hein is not a designer but a poet, philosopher and mathematician. These elements came together while designing this table. A traffic intersection in Stockholm designed by Piet Hein was used for inspiration. The shape of the traffic square inspired Arne Jacobsen and Bruno Mathsson to create this design.
Dexe has signs of use which are in the picture, but has a nice lived top. If desired, this is a good basis to refurbish it yourself. Of course, the price is accordingly.
