This fantastic rosewood sideboard is by the female Danish designer Inger Klingenberg, who was married to American designer Ross Littell. They started a design studio in Copenhagen in 1958 and created some designs for Fristho that were put into production and presented at the Koln furniture fair in 1960 as the "Inger series." This sideboard is model Inger-195 and features "Indian Rosewood" finished doors and a beautiful flamed Rio Rosewood finish on the inside of the doors. The Dutch manufacturer Fristho was known for its top quality production and was represented internationally by the large company Arflex (Italy) which distributed its products throughout Europe in the 1960s.
