Artist's first proof
This letterpress board cut Cascatelle Rouge is the artist's first proof, not numbered, thus unique. Fon Klement was a self-taught artist: he drew and painted and is best known for this, his typical technique, especially his colorful floral still lifes.
This artwork is signed with Fon's signature and two fingerprints. These can be found at the bottom right, as well as the dating (1994). The written text is in the artist's handwriting.
