The rare first series of model FD118 by Grete Jalk with "Exper Springs" under the seat and back cushions. Slightly narrower and fancier than the later versions from France & Son and Cado. The crossbars are made of stained beech wood, the side panels are made entirely of teak.
The comfortable innerspring pillows were reupholstered with high-quality virgin wool fabric from DePloeg, Netherlands. Color mix dark green.
The previous owners had installed a wooden plate under the seat cushions because the old springs were broken. Unfortunately, the FD badge was removed as a result. We removed the plate and replaced the suspension. The Frames is marked with a punch mark.
