The M'rirt carpets (or Beni M'rirt) are carpets close to the Beni Ouarain, also made in the Middle Atlas, they are the most prestigious of Moroccan Berber carpets, they are all unique, true works of art.
Woven with exceptional quality sheep wool, the weave is particularly tight, which results in a denser rug. As a result, a larger quantity of wool is needed to weave a rug. M’Rirt rugs are also washed and rubbed once woven, which gives them an ultra-soft feel and incomparable softness.
The audacity and creativity of the women of the Berber tribes in the Atlas allow them to create freely from their own experience, perfectly combining shapes and colors where only vegetable dyes are used.
