This woodcut is from the beginning of Dianne Bakker's career and consists of an edition of only 15 pieces. Such early work is relatively rare and comes from the period when she was also nominated for the Dutch Graphics Prize.
Last year she also received high praise for the exhibition she had with Isabella Werkhoven at Museum Belvedère in Heerenveen. Currently she is also attracting a lot of attention outside the country and has also won an important prize with her art in Belgium.
The work is still in beautiful condition, only the frame has some minor damage that is not noticeable when it hangs and at the bottom there is a minimal amount of dust behind the glass. This too is not noticeable at all.
The dimensions including frame are 34x76cm
