1999 ceramic casserole dish with decor of a work of art by the famous Dutch artist Corneille. Size 24 x 18 x 5 cm. In original packaging, undamaged. Weight 1020 grams, signed.
Corneille, like the famous artist Karel Appel, belonged to the COBRA group (The name is derived from the initial letters of the cities where the painters worked: Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam).
Cobra was founded in 1948 in Paris by an international group of young, experimental painters. Cobra is generally associated with colorful, expressive-spontaneous painting.
