Among the classics, this is probably the classic, the Adjustable table E1027 designed by Eileen Gray. During her lifetime she was honored as Royal Designer of Industry and is one of the few women mentioned in the same breath as Le Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe and Marcel Breuer. ClassiCon produces its iconic furniture designs as the sole legal licensee worldwide in collaboration with Aram Designs Ltd., London. The table is named after the house E 1027 'Maison en bord de mer' that Eileen Gray built for herself and her partner Jean Badovici. In this codename the E stands for Eileen, 10 for Jean (J is the 10th letter of the alphabet), 2 for B (adovici) and 7 for G (ray)No
