The table is ash veneer and measures 150cm x 150cm, 73cm high. The top - not solid - is built in four sections and is 6cm thick; it is attached to the column with 8 screws. In the column (50cm x 50cm) there is a sandbag to give extra stability; the corners of the column are nicely rounded. We bought the table in 1981 and have enjoyed it very much. However, due to moving, it is now a little too big for our new apartment. It does have the normal signs of use but in practice this hardly bothers us.The table was originally used as a conference table in our office, later as a dining table. Over the years, minor damage has occurred - see photos.
