This unique table can rightly be called one of the toppers that we have come across in recent years. Model "Backnang" is of fantastic quality! Produced in the Danish style and from the middle of the last century, in a beautiful color and very nice finish. The table is marked with the name Casala. For example, both halves of the top are connected to each other by means of lugs that fit together exactly. When you need more space, you can simply detach the blades and pull them apart. When both parts are apart, a nice tiltable extension emerges that can easily be folded out to extend the table. We have rarely seen such a technically beautifully executed round extension table with a tumbler top! The overall condition can be called very fine, the signs of wear are appropriate to the use for more than half a century, it gives the table some character and shows its previous life, which is what makes vintage furniture so unique. However, the whole is still so full of charm that the traces of use do little to detract from the whole the table radiates. Be sure to take a look at the extensive accompanying photos.
