Liscio: eucalyptus yarn
With the introduction of the Liscio quality, which uses an exciting new type of yarn, Longbarn once again successfully defines the meaning of haute couture. The Liscio quality is made from Eucalyptus wood (trunk minus the bark) and possesses a number of very pleasant characteristics. One of these is that the Liscio quality feels extremely soft, has a silky sheen, and feels comfortable all year round due to its wool-like properties. Longbarn is therefore very proud of their Eucalyptus yarn. In addition to softness and long-lasting luster, the yarn has a number of other attractive properties. For example, it consists exclusively of wood fibers, made from wood harvested from sustainable forests and processed in a process where 99.5% of the wastewater is recycled. Just like any tree, these wood fibers are capable of efficiently absorbing and wicking away moisture. As a result, the yarn not only has excellent moisture regulation but also a natural antibacterial effect. Finally, both the eucalyptus and the natural latex backing are made from natural materials.
Normally, this beautiful carpet costs €800 per m²! In these dimensions, this piece costs no less than €6,000!
