Beautiful Scandinavian half-timbered work; wall system designed by Borge Mogensen and executed by Karl Andersson & Soner.
The wall cabinet consists of 3 parts:
- sliding door cupboard which is slightly deeper than the other two parts
- folding desk cabinet
- cupboard
The cabinet is still in very neat condition, especially considering its age!

About Borge Mogensen:
After training as a furniture maker, Mogensen continued from 1936 with a study in furniture design at Danmarks Designskole. He subsequently continued his studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts from 1938 to 1941.
Immediately after his studies he worked for various architects, including Mogens Koch and from 1945 to 1947 for Kaare Klint, who was also a professor at the art academy at that time. After Klint's death in 1954, Mogensen became his successor as designer of the Design Museum Danmark (source Wikipedia)Small dents on the side but almost imperceptible
