Beni M' Guild rugs are the preferred target of connoisseurs, decorators and interior designers.
Beni Mguild is a Berber tribe of the Sanhaja branch. This tribe is originally from the Sahara, since the end of the Middle Ages it began to progress towards the North-West through the Middle Atlas to finally occupy this territory at the end of the 19th century.
Beni Mguild rugs are very well maintained because they are passed down over several generations. Made during the winter period which can sometimes be very harsh, Beni M'Guild carpets, originally used for daily needs, constitute one of the main sources of heat and insulation in the homes of Berber tribes. .
Each rug has imperfections and an irregular appearance Abrash, the manufacturing being artisanal and old.
Its tints are only due to the passage of time. It also bears some marks and traces of wear which give it all its charm, and which bear witness to its history. These marks are not considered defects.
