Bertil Vallien (born January 17, 1938, in Stockholm) is a famous Swedish glass artist and designer, best known for his long collaboration with Kosta Boda. He studied at the prestigious art school Konstfack under Stig Lindberg and graduated in 1961. Since 1963, he has been associated with Kosta Boda, where he creates both utilitarian glassware and artworks. His work is included in major museums worldwide. He has received several awards, including the Visionary Award from the Glass Art Society (GAS).
