The cantilevered armchair is suitable for any living space - also because the seating comfort in any situation is overwhelming and appealing. The current product is a reissue and was adapted by our masters based on customer ideas. The RH-305 is characterized by a slightly thinner upholstery surface and a slightly modified and adjusted seat height. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe built one. So did Alvar Aalto. Not to mention Verner Panton. And Mart Stam or Marcel Breuer anyway: the cantilever chair has fascinated all great designers - including Robert Haussmann, who designed the legendary bar in the "Kronenhalle" in Zurich or the shopping arcade "Galleria" in Hamburg. Since 1966, Haussmann and his wife Trix have been Switzerland's best-known architect couple; as a working group, the two have influenced interior design internationally for decades. Haussmann also became active for De Sede - creating an icon of unparalleled elegance: RH-305, the chair without back legs, is impressive for its comprehensive comfort, timeless elegance and outstanding materiality - simply a true classic.
