Le Bamboole series, originally designed by Mario Bellini in 1972, was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1979. What makes them special is the apparent absence of a load-bearing structure, the extreme naturalness of the form and the combination of comfort, softness and elasticity that their appearance exudes.
Original construction based on a metal structure embedded in polyurethane.
Old model with the original upholstery.
