Bauhaus lamp - originally designed in 1923-1924 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld and Carl Jacob Junger - was re-released in the 1970s by Metalarte Valentino, Spain. The table lamp has an opal glass shade, a glass base and a plexiglass housing. It closely resembles the original design.
The original lamp is slightly different from the later model from the 1970s from Spain. Yet this 1970s model is included in the permanent collection of the Moma in New York.
The lamp is large - 45 cm high x approx. 23 cm diameter. This lamp is in excellent and well-working condition and was purchased in October 1996 by the 1st owner.
This lamp has served more as an ornamental object than as a lighting object. There is a second same lamp (which is offered for sale separately)Minimal and very light scratches from use.
