The Tizio Desk Lamp was designed in 1972 by Richard Sapper. In 1997 (25 years of Tizio), a Limited Edition was made especially for the Benelux of 2500 pieces in silver gray. The version offered here is signed and has number 2244/2500 (see photo).
The Tizio is an extremely flexible desk/table lamp. Thanks to the ingenious counterweight system, this classic can be placed in many possible positions and the tilting hood remains balanced. The unique construction is both beautiful and practical. It does not take up much space but still provides good and direct lighting.
The base has a diameter of 11 cm. The height of the lamp is a minimum of 31.5 cm and a maximum of 119 cm. The length of the arm is a minimum of 78 cm and a maximum of 108 cm.
The lamp was originally made of halogen, but is now equipped with a 2.5 LED light source.
