Ernesto Gismondi (1931-2020, Italy) designed the Zen floor lamp for Artemide (Italy). The timeless, now almost vintage, Zen is a large halogen floor lamp with a shell-shaped aluminum shade and a small lamp underneath. The small lamp illuminates the top shade and provides extra mood light. Both lamps (also available with LED) are equipped with a floor switch and a dimmer. The top hood can be rotated. The Zen floor lamp from Artemide has a high black metal stand and a heavy round spherical base (10 kg). Despite its size, the lamp fits on all walls and corners without taking up much space.
We are the first owner of the lamp, it is truly a timeless asset, also in combination with, for example, the ZEN wall-ceiling lamp (see Site Whoppah)The lamp is complete with switch and dimmer (work perfectly), contains minimal signs of wear on the large shell (see photo).
