Art deco fish statue, sculpture mounted on red marble base, marked B.R. France, 1930s.
The statue is made of regule, a non-ferrous metal that has been patinated to resemble bronze, decorated at the bottom with aquatic plants and a starfish, mounted on a rectangular base of red and gray veined marble.
In very good vintage condition considering it is a statue from the art deco period, the bronze patina is somewhat worn, minimal signs of wear on the marble base along the corners, but nothing disturbing, check the photos for more details!
