Gebr. van der Stroom is a Dutch furniture manufacturer that specializes in producing high-quality furniture. The company is best known for its Avanti furniture line, which is often praised for its quality and design.
In the 1960s, they developed this series that is very similar in style to that of its contemporaries Parry, and Spectrum.
We see crisp and clean lines, and a combination of beautiful materials such as a metal base and beautiful teak wood armrests.

This particular specimen, from the first owner has been used to complete satisfaction over all these years, the frame is still in fine condition, the wood all original and polished.
The upholstery including cushions and construction was completely renewed in 2024 and looks more beautiful than it ever was. The very best foam, the finest fabric, and the best upholsterers with experience in dutch design, have made this armchair a true work of art.
