This modern dining table from the Arco brand Lance type has a dark solid hardwood top. Photo 2 shows how the thickness of the leaf increases from the edge to the center.
There are some light signs of wear on the ground support.
Of course, this table can also be used as a work and desk table. The blade is exceptionally hard and can withstand a blow. Moreover, it is easy to keep clean.
