Beautiful modernist design by a French art deco hero: André Groult. He designed this folding etagère in 1924 and was clearly inspired by De Stijl, Rietveld and other modernists. The cabinet was named 'Geisha' and is collapsible. Very nice condition, perhaps repainted in original colors.Signs of wear appropriate to its age and repainted at some point.
