Although the name may suggest otherwise, this shy lady conceals little to nothing. This lamp was designed by Giovanni Alessi Anghini & Gabriele Chiave in 2015. While the light source itself is often 'hidden' in the design, with only the light as a visible exponent of the source, the designer duo chose this visually central feature for Lady Shy. to place.
A transparent plastic cover protects the center of Lady Shy, a bright LED lamp, without restricting visibility. The shape of this shell, a cone with a hemisphere to put it simply, seems with a little imagination to resemble a dress that is slightly lifted by the wind, of a little dancer who seems to be pirouette with her hands wide. to make.
You can use Lady Shy -with a cord dimmer- as a reading lamp, table lamp or as a lamp for the bedside table. The lamp has a maximum diameter of 20 cm and is 38 cm high.
