Acyl on canvas by Ada Breedveld from 1993. Representation of a purple woman with a fish. Dimensions incl frame: H93 x w123cm. Dimensions representation: H79 x b108cm. Upon purchase the work can be picked up in 's-Gravenzande ( near The Hague(Scheveningen), Rotterdam and Delft and 5 minutes from the beach). The period for collection, with payment in advance, is very generous, i.e. the buyer can pick up the work weeks or even months later and if possible combine it with a visit to one of the aforementioned cities or the beach. The work can also be sent with a small art courier(Swift), to the Netherlands and Belgium.
In almost all paintings by Ada Breedveld (1944) a woman appears. A voluminous, ever-satisfied smiling woman, surrounded by an ever-changing backdrop of decorative patterns. These motifs-such as fish, snakes, flowers-symbolize sexual power, growth and vitality. The point, however, is not to point each painting to symbols. IN very good condition.
