Rudi Pillen (Moen, January 6, 1931 - Blankenberge, March 24, 2014) was a Belgian artist.
From 1949 he studied fine arts at the Sint-Lucasschool in Ghent. Six years after his first visit to Africa in 1956, he went to live in Zaire only to return after 13 years.
Pillen's work reflects a great deal of creativity. Over a period of more than 50 years, his work evolved from expressionism - inspired by his stay in Africa - to contemporary modern art.No defects
