Hiromichi Konno created the RIN™ chair for Fritz Hansen ; an elegant and futuristic design. The idea is to create a new type of chair that is in harmony with Japanese and Danish design traditions. The chair is elegant with a very innovative and progressive design. It invites you to sit in it for hours and takes the traditional chair design in a new direction.
“I wanted to make a beautiful chair that can stimulate and awaken people's emotions. It must be able to be visually appealing, but also give us a form of elegance when we sit in it. That's why I created something poetic, simple, strong, relaxing and innovative at the same time. The goal from the beginning was to create the perfect chair,” says Hiromichi Konno.
Made of a plastic white seat shell, fitted with a rotating chrome star base.
