Originally designed for the interior of the famous Parisian "Café Costes", Starck created the striking three-legged armchair. Driade has been producing the Costes chair since 1985 and it remains extremely popular.
The frame of the Costes armchair is made of black lacquered steel tubing. The curved plywood back shell is available with a mahogany veneer or other wood variants. The polyurethane foam seat cushion is supplied with a fixed cover in black leather.
The Costes armchair is only suitable for indoor use.
